the hero of a nation

                      the hero of a nation
Training so hard...exhausted...every day only five hours sleep and I've had enough.
It all started on my fifth birthday. From that day on i knew…I had a feeling
that I was gonna be an All Black.

I started playing rugby at the age of three and when i was about five years old I took rugby seriously and had dreams of becoming an All Black.
My biggest support was my parents I loved my dad because he always took me to rugby games. He also had dreams of becoming an All Black but fell short so he thought the closest thing to becoming an All Black was to be a fan and support me.My mum and dad were great support they would take me to all my games and even All Black games. You could say...I was obsessed with rugby.

  1. Hey Ryan......I love this excerpt from your story as it is has strong imagery and interesting sentence construction. I would be interested to see what Rubric number you have assessed yourself for, for punctuation!

  2. Ryan, I like your cut-out of your story-but it lacks capital letters and full stops. I think you need to work on punctuation and editing your work.
